This course is for beginner Adult or children from 8 years and upwards 
with any digital camera.  Childrens holiday and after schools sessions are available.  
The course covers: Composing a photo, Lighting, Portraits, Landscapes, Macro,Depth of field, Capturing movement and includes how to use your F Stops, ISO and shutter speeds.

This course covers how to use Adobe Photoshop for your basic photo editing.  Subjects like: Improving image quality, Black and White, Tinting and can also cover topics a student may want to know about.

These are our basic courses, but we do offer specialised courses for group or individuals e.g. "Help, I have to photograph my friends wedding" & "How to capture fabulous photographs of my children" (also done as a fundraiser).  Please contact us with any queries.

Through the months of September and October 2011 I had a wonderful time teaching the beginner photography course at the Rotorua Youth Centre.  At the end of the course the students put their best 5 photos each into an exhibition.  Here are their photos.

This course really goes into your DSLR camera functions and how to get the best use of them.  We also set creative challenges for our students to complete covering different aspects of photography e.g. fashion, commercial, studio, travel with actual photo shoots.  The Adobe Photoshop tutorials go into Layers, Quick Mask, Model retouching, actions and a lot of special effects.  This is a challenging course for those wanting to take their photography to the next level.
