Wedding Styles

Calico Jo's Wedding photography can offer you different photography styles.

FORMAL: Traditional Wedding Photography, lots of posed positions. Centers around the Bridal Party and Family.

JOURNALISTIC STYLE:  No set posed photos. The photographer takes photos as the action happens. Lots of natural shots with the focus not only on the Bridal Party but also the guests.

MIXTURE: The photographer takes classic posed wedding shots, but also takes photos that happen naturally e.g. the tears, the funny moments, the hugs and kisses. This is a style that is worth considering hiring a second photographer for.

Student Photographers

Calico Jo's students provide additional enthusiasm and creativity to your wedding day photography.  Photography is their passion!
By having a  second photographer you will get all those moments that sometimes happen behind the first photographers back, eg the guests reaction to the kissing of the bride, or can be at different locations than the first photographer, eg. photographing the groom getting ready and before the ceremony greeting guests, photographing the guests interacting while the wedding portraits are being taken.
